Gene Therapy

A committee that has been investigating the death of a 36 year old mother due to her arthritis medicine is still under investigation. The female, who was a willing participant in a gene therapy study, was apparently in no condition to be in the gene therapy testing, according to her husband. There are impending questions from the investigating committee on whether or not the process by which she was selected for was legit enough for her, or if it was simply too easy for anyone to take.

The patient’s gene therapy has been somewhat of a setback to the gene therapy researchers. This has made those that conducted the gene therapy look bad, as they have also had a bad rap with a previous death from a gene therapy session. Staying true to the course, the investigators will not concede until they have come to the bottom of the investigation.
